Our refurbishment programme of the centre continues to develop, during this month (March 2007) the small lounge has been decorated, new net curtains and curtains are being purchased and a new Wilton carpet has been ordered.

New armchairs for both lounges have been ordered after our residents and visitors tried the samples chairs, we are purchasing chairs with different heights to enable all service users to befit from them and ensure that they can use the chairs.

As the reception area seems to be a popular place for the residents to gather and chat, we are purchasing new tub chairs for their use and coffee tables for their cups!

Dave (the handy man) is busy planning the garden to ensure that we win the first place in the Maltby in Bloom trophy this year after being awarded the 2nd prize last year.  He has ideas of large covered walkways, fountains and new seating areas.  A busy time for him!!. Miriam is waiting to join Dave in the garden once the weather is a little warmer; she has already planted seeds for him in the greenhouse and has more ides for Dave to perform miracles!
