Philosophy of Care

1. We will endeavour at all times to maintain the highest standards of care and consideration for all our service users, creating a stable, secure but homely atmosphere.
2. Each service user will be treated with courtest and respect and every effort will be made to maintain their individuality
3. We will respect each service user's need for privacy and dignity
4. We will be aware of and respect each service user's religious and cultural beleifs.
5. We will do our utmost to maintain and possibly improve each service user's personal independence, remembering their right to choice and opinions.

 At Queens Care Centre we believe our service users are entitled to:

• Lead a fulfillingh aqnd independent life as much as possible by the provision of services within the centre
• Be protected from harm, abuse and exploitation
• Grow and develop as individuals
• Contribute to the community as citizens
• Not to be disadvantaged or discriminated against on grounds of gender, ethnic origin, age, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation, social class or cultural background.
